What a fun day! Some of my closest friends and I went ice skating at the Centennial Sportsplex. We had the absolute best time, despite the fact that none of us are good at skating. The skating rink was so nice and safe too.
If you are a parent that has children with a lot of energy they need to burn of, I highly recommend bringing them here. You can keep an eye on them from the bleachers around the skating rink and you can enjoy some alone time. So its a win win situation.
Another plus of coming to Centennial Sportsplex is that it is not very expensive, if I remember correctly it was $7 to get in and skate, but if you had a student ID it was $6. Either way, it was well worth it.
I highly recommend checking the times that the skating rink is opened to the public because the hours can be somewhat inconsistent. The times are located on their website, just click on “Centennial Sportplex” above and it will take you right to it.
This is such a fun outing for anyone willing to attempt skating, but be prepared to fall. My friends and I had such a great time and with it being conveniently located in Nashville, there is so much to do around you if you get tired of skating. From Centennial Sportplex you can see the Parthenon, which is a great place to take the kids, or even go on a date, it is absolutely beautiful.
I hope this was helpful and I would love to hear from you in the comments about your skating experience! Thank you and God Bless!
